I love my Freddie Double Hutch! There just isn’t anything like it around, certainly not in any pet shops. Its 5ft and nice and deep which is great for my 3 Netherland dwarf bunnies. They love running up and down the levels. No problems assembling, easy to clean and access. I do disagree with the previous review, having had many hutches over the years I find this as easy as any other to clean. I would say if you are used to a 4ft hutch cleaning will take longer as this hutch is bigger it will take longer. I would rather a larger hutch, and this really is a palace compared to the hutch they were in before. I think I have totally made the right decision and will be telling all my bunny owner friends about this hutch, it really is superb!..

I bought this cage in August 2011 and it is a fantastic cage for the rabbits - they have so much space and comfort. The cage is a great improvement for my rabbits ... but not such a great improvement for me! It's not as easy to clean as other cages. Because of the depth of the cage it's quite a stretch to reach to the back of the cage. Also it would benefit from the middle section being able to open - this would make it so much easier to reach in to clean and would also allow greater access when needing to pick up the rabbits - mine tend to run away and I have to go from one end of the cage to the other to try and catch them - having the middle access would make such a difference. Bits for Pets if you read this just bear this comments in mind if you need to re-design...

Looked long and hard for a suitable hutch for our two new bunnies. Needed plenty of space, good quality and easy to construct. Ordered this hutch late Monday night, arrived Wednesday lunch - can't fault that! Well packaged and managed to build this myself (with just a bit of help lifting) to the amazement of my husband. Flat packs are often a disaster - not this one - everything went together perfectly and the hutch is looking great. Can 100% recommend this purchase. It is good value for money, easy to build, spacious for 2 bunnies and looks really good...

Bought this with the 5ft run and so far it looks nice! The wood is a bit darker compared to the pictures, but i have to say the assembly was a bit of a hassle. Some parts where out of line when it came to fitting on the roof, and it took 2 hours for both me and my dad to put together
Great buy, just got to adopt the rabbits now!..

I run a small animal care centre which takes in for re-homing many abandoned,neglected and unwanted rabbits. We have just puchased the Freddie double,the freddie triple and 4 rabbit hides,all of which we are very pleased with. The concept of the hutches is brilliant. Staff at Bits for Pets have been very helpful and informative,we will definately be ordering from them again. Our bunnies have given all these products their seal of approval. At last hutches which are adaptable to our needs. Well done Bits For Pets...

This is an excellent hutch. I get tired of seeing tiny hutches in pet shops which don't take into account the welfare of the rabbits so I am glad I discovered 'Bits for Pets'. I have 2 slightly larger than average rabbits. The hutch came very well packaged and took 2 of us about 1.5 hours to put together, the instructions were clear and the screws etc well labeled. We did find it a bit fiddly putting the floor in after construction (as per instructions) however so had to loosen it back up and fiddle about a bit but managed it without too much trouble! The hutch is very solid and good quality. It is spacious and high enough for my rabbits with a good grip ramp connecting the upstairs and downstairs. Personally I didn't see the need for two sleeping areas as my rabbits get on very well so I did leave the bottom floor nesting area separator out and I have a litter tray in what should be the second sleeping area. If someone required 2 separate hutches or had problems with their rabbits getting along it is very easy to separate this hutch into 2. I also have bought the attaching run which will permanently be fixed to the hutch and makes a very secure space for my rabbits. I would definately recommend this hutch...
