Freddie 5 foot Penthouse Luxury Rabbit and Guinea Pig Hutch
This hutch is an ideal size for 2 rabbits or several guinea pigs.
With the attaching run this hutch provides over 40 squre foot of space for your rabbits. That exceeds the guidelines required by most re-homing centres and the RSPCA.
The Freddie Penthouse Hutch is innovative in its design, and the hutch can be used both as a double hutch with ramp to access each floor or as two seperate hutches standing on top of each other:
As a Double Level Hutch (with interconnecting ramp): When assembling the hutch include the ramp, which allows your small animals two 5ft x 2ft levels to enjoy. Wow that’s lots of room for your rabbits and guinea pigs.
As Double Hutch (with no interconnecting run) : When assembling the hutch, do not include the ramp and keep the floor panel closed. This provides you with two 5ft x 2ft hutches. This is ideal if you need to house your pets separately. Without the ramp in place there will be a small gap in the floor. You may wish to cover this with straw or use a small piece of filler wood in place of the ramp.

The lower floor stands 13cm off the ground. The roof is hollow so the hutch provides over 2ft of height at the lowest point for your rabbit to stand tall.

Superior Quality Hutch : The hutch itself is superb quality, with a plastic ‘wipe clean’ tray floor. The 12mm tongue and groove has been dipped in a pet friendly wood preserve and is finished to the highest standards.
Simple Assembly: Our hutches and runs come flat packed for home assembly. They have been made so that they go together with ease, with predrilled holes, and easy to understand instructions.
Our Wood: Our hutches and runs for rabbits and guinea pigs are made from high quality Fir Trees (Cunninghamia lanceolata). We have chosen this wood as it is free from rough edges, and splinters. The Wood is pre-treated with animal friendly wood preserve. The wood is durable, and is resistant to insects, wood worm and rotting. The wood stain may vary from the image shown. What do we mean by ‘fox resistant’ wire?
We call the wire on our hutches ‘fox resistant’ as the wire we use is stronger than most wire used on most hutches. The wire is inlayed into the wood rather than stapled on (like chicken wire), which means its less likely to be ripped out. The wire is strong enough that it should prevent a fox from gaining access to your hutch, but a determined fox may always find a way in so always take extra precautions to protect your pets. We recommend putting the hutch into a larger run, or having a run attached as an extra layer of defence if you are concerned about Mr Fox. Make all the necessary steps to keep a fox out of your garden and reinforce your hutch if foxes are a problem in your area.
