The large access doors make the hutch easy to clean and maintain.
The floor behind the left door is removable, making it easy to clean if used as litter area (we recommend a large litter tray in this section), The remainder of the floor is an easy to clean tray with a lip to ensure a long life free from damage caused by urine etc.
If you need to separate your animals for any reason then you can remove the ladder and have 2 separate 5 foot hutches.

Simple Assembly: Our hutches and runs come flat packed for home assembly. They have been made so that they go together with ease, with predrilled holes, and easy to understand instructions.
Accessing the Hutch: The Freddie hutch has 3 access points. There is a wooden door to the sleeping compartment, and a fold down wooden door on the living accommodation side, this door folds down into the run and this is how your rabbit or guinea pig goes into the run. There is also a third access point, this can be found in the wire grill on the living accommodation side. To clean out the hutch, you will need to reach into each of these doors, and we would recommend using a long handled brush in some areas as the hutch is 24" deep.
Our Wood: Our hutches and runs for rabbits and guinea pigs are made from high quality Fir Trees (Cunninghamia lanceolata). We have chosen this wood as it is free from rough edges, and splinters. The Wood is pre-treated with animal friendly wood preserve. The wood is durable, and is resistant to insects, wood worm and rotting.
