Guinea Pigs lack the enzyme that makes Vitamin C, so they must have a daily intake of Vitamin C in order to remain healthy. Avoid feeding Guinea Pigs with Rabbit food as it does not contain Vitamin C, and has inadequate levels of protein for a guinea pig.
